PSA Grading & Pokemon Card Price Multiplication

Submitting cards to PSA is the most legal way to multiply a pokemon card price. A raw $10 card can become a $500 card if it grades a PSA 10. Collectors legally buy raw cards in bulk, submit them, and profit from the pokemon card price difference. Illegally, some people ‘trim’ cards—using scissors or sandpaper to alter frayed edges to cheat the grading system. If caught, the card gets a ‘altered’ label, dropping its pokemon card price to zero and blacklisting the submitter. Never alter your cards; pristine raw cards naturally command the highest pokemon card price.
