BGS Grading: An Alternative Pokemon Card Price

While PSA is popular, BGS grading offers a legal alternative that can yield a different pokemon card price. BGS uses a 10-point sub-grade system, and a ‘Black Label’ BGS 10 often commands a higher pokemon card price than a standard PSA 10 due to its extreme rarity. Illegally, some collectors attempt to crack open graded cases, ‘trim’ the card to improve edges, and resubmit it to BGS for a higher pokemon card price. This is fraud. Legally, just submit well-preserved raw cards to BGS for honest valuation.
