In-person trading is a legal backbone of the Pokemon community, allowing players to exchange cards based on mutual agreement of their pokemon card price. Illegally, ‘quick switching’ is a common scam where a scammer shows you a real, high pokemon card price card, then uses sleight of hand to swap it for a fake when handing it to you, walking away with your real cards. Always legally inspect the exact card being traded before letting go of your own property.
